The Last of Us is a game revealed last weekend on the site for it. The teaser trailer can be found here and makes you definitely start to think it may have something to do with zombies or infected. It reveals tons of rioting and a narrator stating several peaceful and enjoyable activities that are now all gone due to whatever happened. Along with that trailer another trailer was released featuring a clip of a video from a BBC Planet Earth episode having to do with a fungus named Cordyceps that tends to hijack the mind of the victim, kill it, and then slowly breach out of it's head to infect others. In the video it can be shown happening to an ant.
The site must of edited the ant video as it's now extended to display a black screen and mostly audio. The audio consists of a man struggling and what sounds like either shooting in the background or the man trying to start up an engine. But it's not working, shortly after right when the video ends a woman screams. View it below:
The image below was released yesterday as well as the extension of the ant video. A news paper features The President addressing the public on an outbreak that's occurring. If you expand the image, you may be able to read "45 million feared dead or infected." Perhaps from Cordyceps, who knows. New Mexico is under quarantine and England is declaring martial law. The newspaper reveals a bit of story to get things going. More will be revealed at the VGA's.
